What if you could say the right thing at the right time and then having the same thing happen over and over? Posting a great blog on social media is like getting everyone in your town on your small business’ side of town.
Timing that blog on social media to post when the largest amount of people are on that particular channel is like making all stoplights point cars to your small business. It doesn’t get better than that but, how do you do it?
Timing is everything
Here at Type 3 Web design, we are always looking for the latest information to help us determine the best time for posting to each of the social media channels.
Optimal timing and dates are different from Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and Pinterest as they have different audiences with different needs. One great resource is this infographic from Quick Sprout.

This is an easy way to help you determine which date and time you want to share on each social media channel. You will want to do research on this at least monthly to ensure that the numbers and dates you are posting this information is still current.
Scheduling with a smile
I am all for the easiest, most efficient way of doing things. I want my blogs on every social media channel but I don’t want to do in every day to post and to check for my comments later. Lucky for us, there is an easier way.
Hurray!
For your WordPress website, add the plugin Social Networks Auto-Poster or “SNAP”. This will take you 5 minutes to set up and will allow your blog to post all throughout the week, giving you time to respond to your readers or sleep in.
Thanks for reading. You can learn more about blogs and plugins as the 2015 Fayetteville WordCamp hosted on July 31-Aug. 2 at the Donald W. Reynolds Center in Fayetteville, Ark. This is a great weekend conference filled with knowledgeable speakers, great workshops and very cool people who will take time to help you with any issue you have time to explain to them.
Also, this year Michael and I from Type 3 web design will be speaking on website speeds and nonprofit blogging. It is bound to be a great event and we hope to see you there. To purchase tickets or find out more visit https://fayetteville.wordcamp.org/2015/
